Shipping and Delivery Policy

At Steel Torso we aim to provide a seamless shopping experience with reliable and timely shipping. This Shipping and Delivery Policy outlines how we process and deliver your orders.


 

1. Processing Times

  • Order Processing: Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday), excluding UK public holidays.
  • Bespoke Orders: Bespoke tailoring and altered garments may take 1–3 weeks depending on the complexity of the order. Processing times will be confirmed at the time of purchase.

 

2. Shipping Options

We ship via Royal Mail and offer the following options for UK and international deliveries:

 

2.1 UK Deliveries:

  • Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For: Delivery within 1–2 business days after dispatch.
  • Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For: Delivery within 2–4 business days after dispatch.
  • Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm: Next-business-day delivery with tracking and insurance.

 

2.2 International Deliveries:

  • Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed: Delivery within 5–10 business days, depending on the destination.
  • Customs Clearance: International shipments may be subject to customs duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient.

 

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, size, and destination of your order. Any additional charges, such as customs fees, are not included in our shipping fees and must be covered by the customer.


 

4. Tracking Your Order

  • Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number.
  • You can track your package via the Selected Mail Tracking Portal.

 

5. Delivery Policy

 

5.1 Delivery Timeframes:
We strive to deliver within the estimated timeframes; however, delivery times are not guaranteed and may be affected by factors beyond our control (e.g., postal delays, adverse weather).

 

5.2 Missed Deliveries:
If delivery is missed, Royal Mail will leave a card with instructions for collection or re-delivery. It is the customer's responsibility to collect the parcel within the time specified by Royal Mail.

 

5.3 Undeliverable Packages:
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failure to collect, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. Additional shipping charges may apply.


 

6. Lost or Damaged Parcels

  • Lost Parcels: If your parcel does not arrive within the expected timeframe, please contact us at sales@steeltorso.co.uk within 14 days of the dispatch date.
  • Damaged Parcels: If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving the item, providing photos of the damage for assessment.

We will work with Royal Mail to resolve lost or damaged parcel claims as quickly as possible.


 

7. Bespoke Orders and Altered Items

  • Bespoke and altered garments may require additional time for delivery, as noted during purchase.

 

  • As these items are customized, they are non-returnable under our Return Policy.

 

8. Click and Collect

If we offer a Click and Collect service for in-store or event pick-ups:

  • Orders will be available for collection subject to event or specified destination.
  • Bring your order confirmation and ID when collecting your item.
  • Orders will be held for 7 business days or end of event from the specified date of collection, collection past this date may result in additional shipping or restocking charges for rearranged collection or delivery.

 

9. Public Holidays and Busy Seasons

Please allow extra time for delivery during public holidays, sales periods, or the festive season, as these may impact Royal Mail’s delivery schedule.
